APPEARANCE>> With her striking features, pale skin, and slender figure, Arashi was one of the most popular and sought after among all of the young ladies residing at the convent, though her cool exterior kept most people content to admire her from a far. She prefers to keep her straight, black hair long and unfettered, all the better for her to hide behind when something makes her uncomfortable. Though of average height for her age, her delicate bone structure, inherited from her mother, makes her seem like a fragile, porcelain doll although anyone who has been stared down by her cool steel-gray eyes would tell you that nothing could be farther from the truth. PERSONALITY>> Arashi isn't what you would call a "warm" person. She's a little distant when it comes to interacting with most people, and isn't that approachable. She is usually very calm and level headed, but actually gets flustered easily if caught off guard or if the person knows just what to say to ruffle her feathers. She dislikes noisy, "annoying" people and is sometimes confused by her own feelings. She prefers to be in control of herself, and tends to ignore those who irritate her, though she isn't above hurting them (just a little - maybe just twist their arm or stomp on their foot or something like that) to get them to stop being stupid. She is loyal to those who gain her trust and manage to worm their way into her heart though, and she is easily upset if harm comes to them. (indepth)

BACKGROUND>> Arashi is the youngest child and only daughter of a Trivignian lieutenant, whose family was based in the capital Basilicata. Growing up with two older brothers, namely Yuu and Oguna, she was taught the basics of sword play by the former when she was very young, and actually received a real sword from him as a present once. After their dear mother passed away while Arashi was only 6 years old, soon after the death of their father in the military, she was sent to the convent and away from her brothers, in order to live with some "feminine influence".

The abbess of the convent, which was the same convent her mother attended as a young woman, was actually her mother's mentor when she was younger, and took Arashi under her wing as well. Mother Kaede was quite lenient with her and mostly allowed her to do as she pleased, though the young girl never took advantage of such favor and grew up to have a strong sense of discipline, which she probably got from her eldest brother. She was allowed by the abbess to continue practicing the few sword drills her brother taught her, albeit in secret. Intelligent, sensible, polite, good-looking, and talented, she is admired and well-liked by most in the convent, though she has very few people she could consider to be actual friends. (indepth)
